Locke is a freelance designer. Due to his unstable financial situation, he finds it hard to make ends meet, to the point where it is no longer possible for him to pay his rent anymore! In desperation, he wanders the street, lamenting about his problems. It was then he stumbled on a flyer about a “Magic Sticker” competition on the notice board of a bus stop. The designer with the highest sticker downloads can win a million-dollar venture capital! That prize money will solve all his problems! He finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel and decides to join the competition!
Locke works hard to create his emoji designs every day, he even starts burning the midnight oil as the competition deadline approaches. Stressed and stuck in a bottleneck, he drinks a bottle of wine to relieve some of his stress. When he sobers up the next day, he finds that his design has been completed miraculously! He quickly finalized and submitted it to the competition. During his drunken design mania, he vaguely remembers a voice telling him: “Happiness will be delivered through your designs if you stay true to yourself and remember your intentions.”. At the end of the competition, Locke’s emoji stickers had the most downloads, winning him the grand prize! Since then, Locke has turned that sentence into his life motto!
